Chakra Energy
The chakra energy profile is an ancient East Indian system designed to help identify the various universal questions imbedded within the light body of each human being. A simple way to decipher the universal human energy field is to decode it using the guidelines laid down for us by traditional teachings. In my years of work within the energy fields of individual clients, I have found that the chakra centers organize a person’s life circumstances according to their own intrinsic logic. I use this framework to scan the inner light body with a clairvoyant eye, since the chakra system succinctly identifies regions of the body where specific energies are stored. These energies open easily to reveal the truth about our recurrent sadness or distress, our conundrums, and our hopes for a brighter future, living empowered and in joy.

First or Root Chakra:
This space grounds our physical bodies in material space. It contains the energies of group beliefs, traditions, collective opinions, family constructs, and other kinds of consensus realities that we tend to believe in implicitly. It is a fruitful place to begin work, as we can look to see which unexamined group or family beliefs imprison our possibilities. As these energies begin to move, all the other chakras open up to the possibility of further healing.

Second Chakra:
This space concerns ways of relating to other people, to our life experiences, and anything else that might be called relational. Opening the energies of our relationship space allows for a tremendous shift in perspective, since many old patterns of interacting through fear, alienation, or emotional numbness are frequently reactivated when something pushes a ‘hot button’ that brings an old pattern back to life. Finally seeing the story lines that create the hot buttons changes every aspect of our relational world.

Third Chakra:
Personal Empowerment is the name I give to this space. Here, we explore questions regarding our ability to navigate our lives with grace. Do we move with harmonious, balanced personal power as we take action within our lives? If not, how is our quest for influence causing us to seek to manage forces humans cannot control? Facing these questions, we can gracefully and gently heal these energies. Simply seeing clearly the puzzles of our ongoing struggle to reach fruitfulness, allows for old patterning to gently dissolve.

Forth Chakra:
Heart Chakra, the home of our personal emotional truths. How does love flow within your life, and how are its potentialities restricted by emotional pain or past emotional trauma? I look specifically at the garden of your soul, which rests within your heart chakra. What grows there, and what symbolic forces impede growth there? We can gently see and heal what stands within this space.

Fifth Chakra:
Throat Chakra. How easy do you find it to speak out your deepest truths? Can you speak your truth confidently and lovingly and respectfully within each of the venues of your own life: relationships, work spaces, with strangers when under pressure, and to yourself? Does your speaking voice sound like the one which is native to your soul? If not, we can clear obstacles to the truth releasing itself and speaking out naturally, through you, as it was meant to do. If your voice is bound up or restricted, we can see exactly why that is and open up the space to more profound communications on every level.

Sixth Chakra:
Third Eye or Spiritual vision. Do you see into the universe of your own possibility, or is your vision restricted by past experiences of fear, guilt, shame, or uncertainty? If this vision is clouded, it is difficult to see the innate soul-level connection to the universe that brought us all into being.

Seventh Chakra:
Crown Chakra. This is the place of pure connection to the Source of All That Is. I can quickly see if this loving light of consciousness is being absorbed as it flows from the cosmos into your personal world, or if there are old shields or defenses which block its healing flow into your body, soul, and daily life. Many times old beliefs keep us disconnected from the loving Source of all Reality. Through chakra dreamscape work, your lost connection to infinite love can be re-established in the process of your healing session.
